At ELO Nerang, children’s voices shape a play-based, nature-rich curriculum guided by EYLF and QKLG. Our Bush Kindy builds resilience and environmental care. We honour Aboriginal cultures, nurture strong family and community partnerships within Nerang, and support educators to foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in inclusive, flexible environments.

Nursery
For up to 8 children aged below 15 months
Our Nursery room is designed to nurture each and every child through responsive routines and rituals. This provides every child with the foundation to flourish in our care, promoting curiosity, confidence and a sense of belonging. Our littlest learners can often be found exploring our community with their educators, fostering and enhancing our connection to country.
Toddlers
For up to 12 children aged 15 months to 2.5 years
Our curious toddlers are expert explorers, discovering and investigating the world around them through our nature-based bush kindy environment. These early learners are guided by educators to build resilience, endurance and perseverance through tailored programs, empowering each child's sense of being.
Senior Toddlers
For up to 15 children aged 2-3 years
Our Joeys learners are discovering their sense of respect for nature, building friendships and learning to communicate their needs and desires. With guidance from the dedicated team of educators, these early learners are thriving and growing confidently within our community. Their learning extends past the classroom and into the open environment of bush kindy, providing open-ended, free-spirited and grounded learning in nature.
Pre-kindy
For up to 20 children aged 3-4 years
Our pre-kinders are inquisitive learners, eager to search, seek, and explore different learning styles during their time at Bush Kindy. Throughout their days, these curious minds share their unique skills and talents with their peers, inspiring one another and celebrating individual strengths. They are always pushing boundaries, embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.
Free Kindergarten Approved Program
For up to 22 children aged 3.5-6 years
In Kindy, our learners are growing together—nurturing friendships, building confidence, and deepening their knowledge through bush kindy experiences and tailored programs. With a strong focus on school readiness, our Kindy children are developing essential skills through play-based learning, collaborative exploration, and meaningful experiences. As they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey, they are becoming capable, curious, and confident individuals ready to thrive beyond our Nerang Early Learning centre.
